How to Set a Custom Alias or Custom Domain for Your QR Codes

Last updated on July 01, 2025

Make your QR code link short, branded, and easy to remember.

🔹 What is a Custom Alias (Vanity Link)?
A custom alias, also known as a vanity link, is the personalized part of a shortened URL.
Instead of a random code, you set a name that fits your brand or campaign.

🔗 Example:
Default: qrcod.link/a7x9k3
Branded: qrcod.link/yourbrand

🔹 What is a Branded Domain?
A branded domain is the main part of the short link, like:

qrcod.link

You can also use your own domain (with a premium plan), like:
qr.yourdomain.com

How to Create a QR Code with a Custom Alias

  1. Go to Quick Shortener
  2. Paste your original URL (e.g., your website or landing page)
  3. Choose a domain like qrcod.link
  4. Enter your custom alias (e.g., yourbrand, offer2025, etc.) and click shorten.
    🔗 You’ll get a link like: qrcod.link/youralias
  5. Copy the link

🎯 Generate Your QR Code

  1. Go to the QR Codes section
  2. Paste your custom link
  3. ✅ Your QR code is ready — now linked to your branded, user-friendly URL

🔐 Want to Use Your Own Domain?

You can link QR codes to your own custom domain, like:
qr.yourdomain.com/offer
🟡 This feature is available with the Premium Plan.

💡 Example:
Original URL: https://yourstore.com/summer-sale

Branded QR Link: qr.yourdomain.com/summer25

✅ The QR code now redirects users to your campaign through a clean, trusted URL
